Simple idea…
In the history of Sri Lankan newspapers, there is a newspaper which has been printed in several zones called ‘Lankaloka’. But this was not registered as a newspaper. Therefore, the Lakmini Lanka script started in 1862 as the first newspaper in Sri Lanka. Considering the past and present, Sri Lankan newspapers have seen quantitative and qualitative growth. A collection of newspaper readers is called a reader club.
